In 1984, Philippe De Vleeschauwer and Ingrid Carnewal started working as lawyers, respectively at the Bar in Ghent and Antwerp. As from 1985 they began their collaboration in Ghent.

In 1996 their office moved to the present location in De Pinte. They preferred working in quiet rural surroundings and initially the corporate name was “De Vleeschauwer & Carnewal Lawyers”.

Considering the increasingly complicated legislation, they choose an internal collaboration with various lawyers and picked a new name “Adius Lawyers”. And indeed, as the name suggests, we like to help you on your way “To Law & Justice”. In addition to the internal collaboration, Adius Lawyers developed an extensive external cooperation with a network of lawyers in various member States of the European Union, Switzerland, Turkey, New York, ….
